His Truth Is Marching On

I have been blessed to be raised in the church.  Even in my short, young 33 years I have seen a lot of Apostolic heritage.  We are blessed to be a part of such a great church.  Many men have sacrificed their lives to bring us this gospel.  Whether by physically laying down their lives or by sacrificing their own wants and desires to carry out the great commission. Christ Did Not Die For You

        I love the story of the cross and how Jesus laid down His life for us.  When you truly understand that He died to give us life it make the message even more powerful.  2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says it best.  Paul said, “Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own” (The Message). When Your Enemy Becomes Your Ally

            Over the past decade relations between the US and Venezuelan had fallen apart ending with broken diplomatic ties in September of 2008.  It was much to my surprise to read this past week that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said that he was in support of President Barack Obama. 
            I bring this up as an illustration and not as a commentary on politics.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about what is best for America and for the world.  But that is a whole other discussion and debate.  Read the rest of this entry
