About

I am the pastor of New Life Church of Pflugerville.  You can visit our website  at www.newlifepf.com.   Being born in Mount Vernon, Ohio I am a Buckeye in nature, but a Texan by the grace of God.   This causes great personal turmoil when Ohio State plays the University of Texas but the scarlet and grey always comes out on top.  I left Ohio in the summer of 1995 to attend Texas Bible College where I graduated with my Theology degree in May 1998.  In the summer of 2007 I graduated from Liberty University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

From 1995 until August of 2008 I lived in the Houston/Pearland area.  The majority of my ministerial experience came under the anointed leadership of Ken Gurley, the pastor of the First Church of Pearland where I served on staff for 6 years.  During that time I received my ministerial license with the United Pentecostal Church International and was Ordained in April 2004.

The thing that solidified my being a Texan is that I married a wonderful lady from Texas.  Cassi and I tied the knot in January 2000 in Pearland and that was the best thing to happen to either of us until December 2007 when our son Gavin was born.  To see more information about our family including pictures, check out the family tab.

There are many things that I enjoy doing including boating, spending time with friends, golf, and reading novels and leadership books.  However, if I was only allowed one singular hobby, I would have to say it would be cooking.  I thoroughly enjoy preparing (and eating) meals.  I have 3 signed cookbooks from Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, and Bobby Flay.  I will continue adding to my collection and am most desiring an autographed cookbook by Mario Batali.
