You have seen the bumber sticker. “Know Jesus, Know Peace. No Jesus, No Peace.” Yes, it is a life changer. I propose to you a new bumper sticker. ”Know Jesus, Know Everything. Period.” If you truly know Jesus, then you know everything you need to know to have a happy, prosperous, purposeful, fruit-filled life. When you know Jesus, it is not about your pedigree, your wealth, your education or anything else. Jesus is everything we need.
Paul, the great apostle who turned the known world upside down for Jesus, went under one guise, he knew Jesus. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:1-3, “Dear brothers, even when I first came to you I didn’t use lofty words and brilliant ideas to tell you God’s message. For I decided that I would speak only of Jesus Christ and his death on the cross. I came to you in weakness-timid and trembling. (TLB). Paul went with one message, Jesus Christ and the power of the cross. He did not need seminary to develop a 5 point exegesis on how Jesus could change your life for the better. He did not spend years preparing himself to evangelize the world. He did not carry a Thesaurus to make sure he could sound eloquent and extravagant. No, he simply came and talked about Jesus and the cross.
In our world today, we call this our testimony. Paul went and shared his testimony. We all have the ability to share what Jesus Christ has done in our lives. There is not some magical moment where God taps you on the shoulder and says, “Now”. We, just like Paul, can share Jesus and the cross with anyone at any time. Matter of fact, Paul admits he went in weakness; timid and trembling. The number one reason we do not share our testimony is for fear. You are in good company. The powerful apostle Paul was timid and trembling in delivering his testimony about Jesus. You already know everything you need to know to impact your world. You know Jesus. Do not let fear or inexperience deter you from sharing your testimony.

In teaching home Bible studies, Sunday School classes, and my grandchildren, I have learned to stick to one principle: What does the Bible say?
His Word is true and faithful, and it will NEVER return without doing what He wants accomplished!
This was never so real to me as it was when I was teaching a young lady who had been raised Jehovah’s Witness. She was very antagonistic to any opinions or written church doctrines. She was very accepting of anything written in the Bible.
This young woman is now one of the staunchest students of Jesus Christ I have ever had the privilege to teach. She’s rock solid in what she believes and she searches the Scriptures for her answers to life’s complexities.
